GRRR [Jun. 9th, 2005|09:12 am]
I recently completed a painting that I was not happy with. I think I worked to small, but at least I completed anything at all. I switched rooms in my flat, now I have a room about twice the size as my old one. My finances are in shambles. I have to go on a mission today to put right what went wrong.

My trip to Montana was canceled and I have had a shitty week. Kudos to artists who have transcended and seem to be making progress.

No Montanana?

Also, hey you and I did some really fun drawings the other night.. That has to count for something.

Is the painting the one you showed me with the purple backround? I liked your colors. It looked like the paint itself had a lot of depth like an oil painting, very velvety. I suggest making more paintings if you're not happy with the latest... I spoze.

Sorry to hear your travel plans have been canceled and hope you can straighten out your finances soon.

When I started digitizing my old art, I was surprised to discover that I liked many of the works that I formerly hated and were disappointed by. For me, sometimes it wasn't the artwork but shit going on in my own head that I didn't like. Just the old lack of self-worth and self-hatred talking.
